Welcome to Forge ("Service"), an AI-powered content-generation platform operated by Chextr Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). Forge uses various AI models and providers — including but not limited to Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Groq, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, and Together AI — to draft, restructure, research, and polish written content based on your instructions. By accessing or using Forge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use Forge.
2. Eligibility
You may use Forge only if you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms. By using Forge, you represent and warrant that you meet these criteria.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Forge, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
4. Modifications to the Terms
We may change, modify, or update these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. When we do, we will post the updated Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Forge after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
5. Description of the Service
5.1 General Functionality
Forge generates written content — such as blog posts, articles, and SEO copy — from the briefs, source material, and prompts you provide, using a configurable multi-stage AI pipeline. Forge is not a substitute for professional or expert judgment.
5.2 AI Outputs
Forge's outputs are generated by large language models. They may not always be accurate, complete, current, or free of errors, and may occasionally produce content that requires fact-checking or editing. All outputs are provided on an "as is" basis, and you are responsible for reviewing, validating, and editing any content before publishing or relying on it.
5.3 Plans, Credits, and Usage Limits
Forge offers Free, Pro, and BYOK (bring-your-own-key) plans, each with its own features, credit allotments, and usage limits. We may set, adjust, or enforce daily and monthly limits to ensure fair use and service stability. Details of current plans are shown in the app.
5.4 Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
If you supply your own AI provider API keys, you are responsible for your usage, costs, and compliance with each provider's terms. We run requests on your keys solely to fulfill your instructions and are not responsible for charges you incur with those providers.
5.5 Updates and Improvements
We may update, improve, or change the functionality of Forge at our discretion without obligation. We do not guarantee that any specific feature will always be available.
6. User Conduct
When using Forge, you agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or these Terms.
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or objectionable purpose.
- Generate content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
- Produce misleading, fraudulent, spam, or deceptive content, or content that misrepresents its AI origin where disclosure is required.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the Service to circumvent usage limits or credits.
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
7. Privacy
Your use of Forge is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Forge, you consent to those practices.
8. Intellectual Property
Ownership of the Service. Chextr Inc. and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in Forge, including its software, technology, and design (excluding your Content).
Your Content and Outputs. As between you and us, you retain ownership of the briefs and source material you submit, and of the generated content you produce with Forge, to the extent permitted by law and by the applicable AI providers' terms. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
Trademarks. "Forge," "Chextr," and related logos are our trademarks. Other names and logos are the property of their respective owners.
9. Disclaimers
No Warranty. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Accuracy. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content. Reliance on it is at your own risk.
No Professional Advice. Forge is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).
10. Limitation of Liability
No Indirect Damages. Chextr Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of Forge.
Liability Cap. In no event will our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chextr Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Forge, your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Third-Party Services
Forge integrates with third-party services, including AI providers and cloud-storage providers (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive). We do not endorse or assume responsibility for them. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.
13. Term and Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use Forge. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use Forge ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your use of Forge are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
15. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Forge (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such change.
16. General
Severability. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chextr Inc. regarding Forge.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may freely assign them.
